Six slots, one embedded EMVCo-certified reader, zero commission — Relink’s smallest station is aimed at cafés, bars and restaurants where counter space decides what gets installed.
Relink today introduced the CS-S06 MINI, a six-slot shared power bank station built for countertop placement. The unit integrates a Nayax UNO Mini contactless payment terminal directly into the cabinet, so operators no longer need a separate card reader standing next to the station.
Until now, accepting cards on a Relink station meant one of two things: an external reader paired over Bluetooth, or a built-in terminal tied to a single payment provider. The MINI removes both constraints. The reader is embedded in the cabinet, the footprint drops to something that fits beside a till, and settlement runs through the operator’s own Nayax account.
The UNO Mini is an EMVCo-certified contactless reader, approved at Levels 1, 2 and 3, and supports contactless cards alongside Apple Pay and Google Pay. Firmware and software updates are delivered remotely. Nayax lists shared power bank stations among the verticals the UNO Mini is designed for, alongside vending machines, EV chargers and smart screens.
For operators, the commercial structure matters as much as the hardware. Relink takes no commission and no revenue share on rentals. Rental income settles directly into the operator’s own Nayax account, and pricing, deposits, rental periods and late fees are all set by the operator, per venue or across the network, from a single dashboard.
“The card reader was always the awkward part,” said Relink CEO, “It sat on the counter, it needed charging, and it was one more thing to lose. Putting the Nayax terminal inside the cabinet removes that entire conversation. The MINI is the first station we have built where card payment is part of the product rather than an accessory bolted onto it.”
